Restart in Hungary
|
This article was written few weeks before her performance at the semifinals of Para-Szupersztár, a Megasztár-like competition specially dedicated to new talents who happen to deal with some kind of "limitation"
The article was written by Ivanova Daniela, she also performed at this contest. http://www.vgyke.com/hir/a-magyar-nyelv-kihivas-de-megtanulhato/_ Here you can also watch her performance during the semifinal of Paraszupersztár. Although it seems that there was a misunderstanding with her real name and stage name, either way, it was a nice restart. |
Interviews at Duna TV - Hungarian channel
|
She caught the attention of TV reporters from Duna TV after her performance at the semifinal of the Para-Szupersztár contest, which took place on Octuber 7th, 2014.
Duna TV is a well-known Hungarian TV channel. The reporters were impressed with Tara's brave decision of singing a traditional Hungarian song as a foreigner now living in Hungary. They wanted to know why did she decided to sing this particular song and how long she has been learning Hungarian language because as they said, her pronunciation of the language is incredibly good for a foreigner. The first interview was featured in a full episode of "Akadálytalanul" which was dedicated to musicians with some sort of limitation and the equality of opportunities for them. The second interview was another report about music in Tara's life. This time together with her Hungarian teacher, friend and music manager Kovács Gémes Julianna. They together made a Hungarian version of a soundtrack from her favorite film "Dancer in the Dark". They made it just to help Tara with Hungarian vocabulary, but as we know, sometimes walls have eyes and ears, and this Hungarian version of "I've seen it all" (Már láttam mindt) caught the attention of someone on the Duna TV channel, who also happened to love the film and decided to make a small reportage about this song.
The Hungarian song has not been professionally recorded apart from the scenes in this video, it has not been put anywhere to buy or such things. The only reason why it was made a reportage about it was again, to deliver a message about equality of opportunities for people with limitations. |
Macedonian news!
|
She has a favorite TV show called Eurovision Song Contest, every year she makes cover of her favorite ESC songs in show of support from so far, it's become her tradition. Who would've thought that a home-made cover could get the attention of the Macedonian media?
After many articles Tara recorded a second video saying big thank you to all Macedonians for the great and positive feedback and again, it was caught by the presses. Here are some links: ВИДЕО: Девојка од Панама ја пее „Црно и бело“ иако не знае македонски @ Femina.mk http://www.tvpaket.com.mk/tv/eurovision/672-2012-05-26-16-33-28 That was huge!! the biggest thank you Macedonia, every little thing said about me either good or bad is meaningful for me, 'cause musicians are nothing if they're never heard, and of course it was all because of Kaliopi's gorgeous song, a huge thank you Kaliopi for this, it was all because of you!!
Благодарам, Македонjа ти сакам! The second video recorded also appeared on TV news the day before Eurovision final, and on a radio station in Macedonia after the contest, it was for sure the biggest "online" moment for Tara until today. |
Hard Rock Rising - The Battle of the bands 2012
Tara was also competing at Hard Rock Rising 2012 "The Battle of the bands" with her original song "Challenge" which finished 3rd at the national selection and of course it took part in some newspapers and TV shows.
But like the names says it was a Battle of the "bands" so the song only reached the semifinal. http://ads.pr/panama/noticias/concierto/hard-rock-rising-2012/2894/ http://ads.pr/panama/noticias/concierto/segunda-eliminatoria-hard-rock-rising-2012/3161/ |
