I am still preparing psychologically for what it seems to be a month full of everything. Concerts, radio shows, Eurovision week, exams.... will I manage it all? Yesterday I started the month at City Park Budapest, I was making photos and videos about "Majális" or the equivalent to Labour Day celebration. Food, amusement parks, crowds, very strange that I have survived more than 2 hours in a place so crowded, but actually it was fun! I was a kid again maybe. For all the photos and short videos just check out my Instagram. On Sunday I will be singing together with various amazing artists at Csili Művelődési ház (Pesterzsébet), from 11:00 until I don't know when, perhaps 4 hours of music and entertainment. Entrance is FREE, but each of the artists accept donations. May 8th, I will be singing at the ParaSzupersztár artists reunion, this will take place at Ézüspart Hotel in Sófok, next to Balaton Lake! May 15th, I was invited to take part at "Örömzene" together with other artists. This will take place in Újpest. More details about time and address in the photo. From May 18th until May 24th, it is EUROVISION WEEK! I have tickets for some shows, and also I will be bringing coverage from everything I can find in Vienna. As I am working at www.eurovisionplacenews.com I will be joining their radio shows via Skype, sharing exclusive photos and more stuff. I still have no idea how will this turn out. I can only say that I am excited! But that is not all, the rest of the month is dedicated to exams, homeworks, presentations... I guess sleep schedules will turn upside down again.
It's been a very nice start of the year. Or at least that's what it seems. I still have some gigs here and there, but also I have found something new, a completely different experience.
Recently I was called to collaborate with an international website where we write articles and host radio shows, everything related to the Eurovision world. It is helping me to discover another face of the music industry, I am learning not only to be a better singer, but also, I am learning how it is to be next to an artist, promoting their work, having a small talk, co-hosting a radio show LIVE. It has been an incredible experience so far, and we are hungry for more! University is the usual difficult challenge. A lot of things to read, and that is maybe the main reason why my muse has gone on a very long holiday. I am learning to go with the flow, when it has to come it will come, not forcing anythng anymore. Sziasztok! Hello everybody (whoever gets to see my blog posts). It's been a very long time since the last website update. Many things have changed; I've moved to Hungary, I am studying at one of the best universities in Budapest, and yes I am still singing. But it has taken me such a long time to come back to my abandoned site to update it. Maybe forgetting my previous password and my heavy studies are the main causes for this. I am an independent artist (or I am trying to be), so I have to do everything on my own. Now that I have finished my 3rd semester of my BA in psychology I've come back to the site and I am updating it. From now on you will see more activity from myself in music.
It was necessary for me to first adapt to my new life, on my own. It is a challenge to be the first (and only at the moment) visually impaired student in the English program of psychology at ELTE. I've had ups and downs, and a lot of readings, thus my music consisted of only singing here and there when I got the opportunities. But this is a new year as well, another restart within my "big restart" and I will focus on new music projects during my "free time" (which is not much but I will organise better). I can only end this post by saying thank you to all my friends and fans who have been there even in this time of silence and rebirth of mine. I really appreciate it and that's the biggest reason why I will keep on singing and creating music. Love Tara Another amazing opportunity to play at Picasso last Saturday. I was surprised with the crowd, a special thank you to one of my best friends Amanda who gave me the surprise, the whole family was there thank you! So i had 2 long sets with some warm up covers and my own material. And also a shorter third set repeating fewsongs for some more people who came a bit later on,it was fantastic, actually, I liked to sing again some of my songs, at the last song people were clapping hands while I was siinging, it felt so good! "Challenge" performance was recorded on video, for you who live out there an support my music, I always think about you during my shows so don't get too nervous. Huge thank you.
